Schedule

The conference will start on Monday, July 22 at 09:15 am with a short opening ceremony followed by the first plenary lecture, and will end on Friday, July 26 at 04:00 pm.

The Registration Desk will be open already on Sunday, July 21 from 5:00 pm at the conference venue - the Old Library of the University of Warsaw. A welcome buffet will be offered from 6:00 till 9:00 pm.

On Monday the Registration Desk will be open at 8:00 am.

Programme

Ten plenary speakers have confirmed their attendance and the titles and abstracts of most of their lectures are posted at: http://eilenberg100.ptm.org.pl/programme. There will be time for approx. 30 contributed talks.

All participants are welcome to propose contributed talks by filling an appropriate entry in the registration form and uploading an abstract. Note that the deadline for submissions of titles and abstracts of contributed talks is June 16, 2013.

There will be special events related to Samuel Eilenberg. A historian will give a presentation on the pre-1939 Polish-Jewish Warsaw, where Eilenberg was born and completed his education, including a Ph.D. from The University of Warsaw. The organizers would like to invite participants to share their personal reminiscences related to Eilenberg.

The Social programme will include a welcome buffet on the arrival evening, Sunday, July 21 and the conference banquet on Wednesday, July 24 evening.

Sightseeing opportunities will be offered.

Registration

Everybody who has not done it yet is cordially invited to register for the conference.

The ordinary conference fee is 400 PLN (approx 75 Euro or 120 USD), 250 PLN for students, and 200 PLN for accompanying persons.

Accommodation
